An MIT ldquo;hackrdquo; is an ingenious, benign, and anonymous prank or practical joke, often requiring engineering or scientific expertise and often pulled off under cover of darknessmdash;instances of campus mischief sometimes coinciding with April Foolrsquo;s Day, final exams, or commencement.
